Fractures

Dogs and cats commonly experience fractures secondary to trauma. The most common cause of the trauma is being hit by a car. Other trauma such as falls from furniture, jumping on unstable surfaces, leaping from a person's arms, etc. can also result in fractures. Below are some x-rays of some of the fractures we have seen at All Pets and their surgical correction using pins, plates, screws, and/or wires.
