This is where it all starts! Our friendly, dedicated staff will greet you and take care of your needs. This is where check-in and check-out occurs. In addition clients needing pet food, medications, etc. can obtain them from our reception staff. 

Three examination rooms are used for annual wellness exams, sick animal exams, and consultations.  

Our third examination room has more free space and is set up to handle multiple pets, larger pets, or more family members. 

We are equipped with a full in house lab and are able to run CBCs, chemical profiles, electrolyte panels, clotting times, thyroid, cortisol, CPLs, FPLs, etc. within minutes. This allows us to obtain fast, accurate diagnostic information for our critical patients. We are also equipped with a microscope for fecal floatations, urinalysis, and cytology. In addition to these services, we offer in house diagnostic tests for canine heartworm, feline heartworm, feline leukemia, FIV, brucellosis, progesterone levels, allergy screening, early renal disease, Lyme disease, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis, etc. We also work closely with the University of Illinois veterinary diagnostic laboratory and Idexx labs for testing that we can not provide in house.  

Our dental surgery room also utilizes isoflurane gas anesthesia machines. Dental cleanings, tooth extraction, dental radiography, and other dental surgical procedures are conducted in this room.

X-rays (radiographs) are taken and developed on site. A fully automated x-ray processor allows for films to be developed within minutes, thus allowing for rapid diagnostic information to be obtained. 

Our kennel area has various sized cages and several large runs for all sized pets. Most of our boarding pets are kept in this area. 

A separate isolation room is available for animals with contagious illness or special needs. This allows us to prevent the spread of various ailments to our other patients.
